100% Senior Imaging Technologist - EP Lab - UI Heart and Vascular Center
Education Requirement:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology or other Allied Health Sciences discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience Requirements:
- 6 mos. imaging tech experience required (Cath or EP setting preferred).
- Proven capacity to function with a high degree of autonomy while actively collaborating within a multi-disciplinary team is required.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills required.
Certification/Licensure Requirements:
- Certification in American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or other radiologic related technological certification required.
- Iowa Permit to Practice by the State of Iowa for all technologists operating ionizing radiation emitting equipment required.
- Current certification in Basic and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support required.
Desired Qualifications:
- 1 year imaging tech experience (Cath or EP setting preferred) desired.
- Previous experience using electronic medical records desired.
- Knowledge of University policies, procedures and regulations desired.
- Membership in position-related professional societies desired.
