Position Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Some (6 months – 1 year) academic and/or administrative experience, including the ability to carry out regular office administration tasks effectively and efficiently in support of individuals and/or units.
- Working knowledge and application of the effective communication techniques and relationship building skills required to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
- Proficiency in computer software applications such as Word, Excel, and Access. Working knowledge of and ability to use office support tools available on the desktop (e.g., word processing, e-mail, presentation software and spreadsheets).
- Demonstrates a commitment to excellence through diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Desired Qualifications
- Professional experience working in an academic department.
- Knowledge of the graduate admissions process.
- Knowledge of University policies, procedures, and systems related to academic operations.
