Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Experience (typically 6 months) in Accounts Payable is required.
  • Must be proficient in computer software applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Good organizational and analytical/statistical skills with the ability to meet deadlines and multitask are required.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, such as Excel and Word, are required. 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of automated accounting systems is desirable.
  • Familiarity with the PeopleSoft Accounts Payable system is desirable.
  • Familiarity with the APPO, E-Pro, and ProTrav systems is desirable.
  • Knowledge of University business policies and procedures are desirable.

Eligible for a hybrid/remote work arrangement after an initial training period. Expecting training on campus for a few weeks and opportunity to work remotely from there.
