Education Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience Requirements
- 1-3 years’ experience in an administrative support role for hospital or academic faculty and leadership.
- Working knowledge of web-based tools; databases, internet searches
- Superior written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer software applications
- Demonstrated experience in providing superior customer service in a healthcare or academic environment
- Demonstrated exceptional attention to detail, planning, and follow-up skills
- Demonstrated independent thinking skills to develop alternative solutions and solve problems
- Demonstrated ability to initiate and take independent action while working as part of a team
- Demonstrated independent thinking skills to develop alternative solutions and solve problems
Desirable Qualifications Requirements
- Experience working in customer service in a health care setting
- Experience working with EPIC software/systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Knowledge of radiology specific terminology
Knowledge of University of Iowa Policies and Procedures
