Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and related administrative experience.
  • Some (6 months -1 year) of administrative experience involving customer service in a high traffic office environment. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and has ability to provide examples of savvy approaches to effectively resolve conflicts or complaints.
  • Experience in standard office computer applications, preferably Microsoft Office products, including Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working effectively in a welcoming and respectful workplace environment.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Some (6mo-1yr) experience monitoring/reconciling financial accounts, purchasing, and/or providing educational instruction to individuals or groups.
  • Experience working with college students in an educational environment.
  • Experience with University of Iowa business practices, policies, and procedures.
