Position Summary: Function as an administrative services coordinator who focuses specifically on supporting complex research and evidence-based practice needs of the system and external clients.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Admin support for the following areas:
Nursing Research and Evidence-Based Practice Office
Nursing Quality
Nursing Informatics
Wound Ostomy Nurses
Diabetes Nurses
Some Central Nursing duties
Admin support for the following committees / programs:
Nursing Research and EBP Committee
Agendas
Minutes
Oversee protocols needing review
EBP Internship
EBP Change Champion
Budget oversight for (e.g., monthly reconcile, contracts, procurement):
Nursing Research and Evidence-Based Practice Office
Nursing Quality
Nursing Informatics
Wound Ostomy Nurses
Diabetes Nurses
Admin support for DoN travel Coordination
Manuscript editing, formatting and submission
Percent of Time: 100%
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Location: General Hospital (GH)

Education Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Qualifications:
- Some (6 months – 1 year) administrative, office coordination or financial experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills. Role models service excellence.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Ability to analyze data and critical thinking skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Previous experience working in a health care setting
- Previous experience working with service excellence/customer focused environment
- Previous experience working with service excellence
- Previous experience designing and updating websites
- Previous experience coordinating education activities/events including knowledge of offering continuing education units (CEU's)
- Previous experience coordinating complex workflow approval processes (e.g. travel, tuition reimbursement, certifications)
- Previous experience with research protocol management and grants administration
- Previous experience with reference management systems and editing
