Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • One to three years of related administrative support or program management experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  •  Demonstrate careful attention to detail and accuracy, strong organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks quickly and effectively, proactively establish priorities and meet deadlines.
  •  Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

 Highly Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience coordinating or managing a medical education program.
  • Knowledge of LCME requirements and standards.
  • Experience with medical student clerkship software program management systems (such as ICON, Comet, Clerx) or similar course management and evaluation systems.
  • Previous experience providing administrative and faculty support in a college/university and/or healthcare setting within the last 5 years.

 Desirable Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of University of Iowa policies and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of Urology

This position is eligible for a combination of on-campus (UIHC) and remote work. Remote work must be performed at an offsite location within the state of Iowa. Per policy, work arrangements will be reviewed annually, and must comply with the remote work program and related policies and employee travel policy when working at a remote locationWork arrangement options will be discussed during the hiring process.
