Education Requirement

Bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Typically, a minimum of six months to one year of experience performing office administration tasks effectively and efficiently in a professional office environment.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a constructive and collaborative manner within a diverse environment, including across varied cultures, race, creed, color, national origin, age, sex, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, and veteran status.
  • Experience supervising and developing professional staff.
  • Experience at a working level crafting, editing, and proofreading various forms of correspondence and communication, ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience responding quickly to changing priorities and emerging situations while maintaining professionalism and approachability.
  • Experience managing multiple short-term and long-term deadlines.
  • Experience working in a setting requiring a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Experience at a basic level utilizing a variety of office support tools available on the desktop, including but not limited to Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.


Desired Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience performing office administration tasks effectively and efficiently in a professional office environment.
  • Working knowledge of University policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Experience supporting event coordination.
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.
