Education Requirement
• Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline or related field or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.

Experience Required
More than one year related office administration experience, preferably in an academic environment.
• Budgeting – Knowledge and ability to apply policies and practices of a departmental budget, such as reconciling expenses and reporting on actual monthly expenses.
• Office Administration – Demonstrated experience or ability to perform office administrative tasks with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Operational Functions – Ability to understand, interpret, relay and apply information and has proven ability to meet compliance requirements.
• Desktop Tools – Demonstrate experience and ability to lean advanced skills working with Microsoft Office Suite and managing large databases.
• Effective Communications – Demonstrated experience delivering information to large groups and providing individual instruction.
• A valid driver’s license, plus the ability to meet and maintain compliance with the University Driving Policy.

Desirable Qualifications
• Knowledge and experience with university policies and procedures related to area of assignment.
• Experience working in an academic or higher education environment.
• Experience working with volunteer populations
• Working within a health care environment
