Education Requirement:

  • A bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Required Experience:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • 6 months of related administrative experience is required.  
  • Proficiency in computer software applications including Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel is required. 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with overseeing and organizing events is desired.
  • Experience reviewing and processing administrative account expenditures is desired.
  • Reasonable knowledge of University of Iowa policies, rules, and regulations is desired.
  • Experience using internal programs such as EPIC, Qgenda, ELMS, APR and AskIM is desired.
  • Experience with creating e-vouchers and purchase orders is desired.
