Education Required

  • A Bachelor’s degree and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 

 

Required Qualifications

  • Experience managing a program or service in a complex organization (typically 6 months to 1 year).   
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing computer software applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Drupal (or similar website editing software). 
  • Experience managing concurrent objectives and activities, proactively making effective judgements as to prioritizing and time allocation 
  • Ability to work productively with a high degree of autonomy  
  • Demonstrated experience being highly responsive in a deadline-oriented environment 
  • Experience writing, editing, and coordinating various forms of precise correspondence/communication with high level of accuracy and attention to detail 
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and relationship management skills, and ability to effectively interact with a broad audience, including faculty, staff, students, administrators and executives such as dean, directors, department heads and public and private officials 
  • Demonstrated experience handling sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality, using a high degree of discretion in obtaining and releasing confidential information 

 

Desirable Qualifications 

  • Two or more years of high-level administrative support experience  
  • Working knowledge of or experience with, planning, organizing, and implementing events 
  • Knowledge of University policies, procedures, and regulations 
  • PC database experience
