Administrator, College of Law Dean's Suite
This position will serve as the primary point of contact for the College of Law Dean’s suite, ensuring all visitors and constituent groups entering or contacting the office feel welcome and respected. This position will also have primary responsibility for the daily operations of the office, including coordinating and performing administrative support activities.
Specific Job Duties and Tasks
- Support the daily operations of the office, including knowledge and application of procedures.
- Provide primary office coverage during standard office hours in coordination with other support staff.
- Greet visitors, answer and direct incoming calls, and screen requests from visitors and callers.
- Responsible for the college’s events calendar, including:
- Room reservation management and event planning questions, including communicating regarding conflicting events or rescheduling needs
- Weekly collegiate e-mail related to events and announcements
- Directory Signage on each floor of the building
- Event signage
- Announcements to be added to the website and to weekly email
- May provide functional supervision for student staff
- May exercise knowledge of HR policies and procedures and provide basic guidance and advice to student staff.
- Serve as primary contact for the Dean’s suite, providing information and responding to inquiries.
- Serve as liaison to faculty, staff, students, alumni and public concerning inquiries requiring interpretation of policies, procedures and programs.

Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, or other related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience (a minimum of one year) providing a full spectrum of administrative support duties.
- Superior attention to detail, including excellent composition, editing, organizational and prioritization skills.
- Customer service experience.
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Extensive experience utilizing a variety of software including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite (eg Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience providing administrative support in a higher education environment.
- Working knowledge of institutional and departmental polices, processes and forms.
- Experience with Drupal or similar web-editing software.
- Experience developing and implementing basic surveys using Qualtrics or similar survey tool.
