Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner:
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree is required. A Master's degree in Nursing is preferred. If Master's degree is in a related field, a Baccalaureate degree in nursing is required
- Certification as Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner-Primary Care (PNP-PC) & Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) is preferred.
- Current ARNP license to practice nursing in the State of Iowa is required.
- Demonstrated experience in the clinical care of pediatrics.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with indirect supervision, critical thinking/problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated experience working effectively in a welcoming and respectful workplace environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Federal DEA license.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in child and adolescent psychiatry and or developmental pediatrics.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in mental health.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in ambulatory care.
- Doctor of Nursing Practice degree (DNP)
Required Qualifications:
- Must comply with registration and licensure requirements as specified by the Iowa Board of Physician Assistant Examiners which include graduation from an accredited PA educational program and/or certification by the NCCPA.
- Current certification as Physician Assistant
- Current license to practice as a physician assistant in the State of Iowa
- Demonstrated experience in the clinical care of pediatrics.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with indirect supervision, critical thinking/problem solving skills and is attention to detail.
- Demonstrated experience working effectively in a welcoming and respectful workplace environment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Pediatrics will be filling this position at one of two levels. The Physician Assistant classification salary range is $85,080 -$153,685, and the Adanced Registered Nurse Practitioner salary range s $85,080 - $153,685. You must indicate in your cover letter the level of classification (PA/ARNP) you wish to be considered for or indicate both. See required qualifications for additional information.
