Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to manage small and large group interaction is required.
  • Demonstrate careful attention to detail with great accuracy together with strong organizational skills. The ability to handle multiple projects, proactively establish priorities, and meet varying deadlines.
  • Must be proficient in computer software applications (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

Desirable Qualifications

  • 6 months to 1 year experience coordinating or managing a graduate medical education (residency or fellowship) program.
  • Knowledge of University policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Knowledge of ACGME requirements and standards.

 Dual Postings:

The department intends to hire for one position from either Anesthesia Residency Coordinator (Acad Clin Prog Mgt Associate) #25001708, or Anesthesia Education Team Supervisor (Acad Clin Prog Mgt Specialist) #25001713, based on the qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is eligible for hybrid work within Iowa and will require a work arrangement form to be completed upon the start of your employment. Per policy, work arrangements will be reviewed annually, and must comply with the remote work program and related policies and employee travel policy when working at a remote location.
