The Supply Chain Associate position is considered essential for the effective long-term operation and support of Anesthesia operations.

Position Responsibilities:

•    Organize and maintain Anesthesia supply inventory.
•    Address inventory issues related to the supply chain and suggest models for improvement. 
•    Assist with inventory management for all anesthetizing locations throughout the hospital.
•    Responsible for the maintenance of inventory data and scanning.

About The Department of Anesthesia

The Department of Anesthesia provides exceptional patient experiences and a positive work environment through excellence, compassionate care, continuous improvement, innovative research, and collaborative learning. 

Required Qualifications:

•    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
•    6 months to 1-year related supply chain experience.
•    Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
•    Prompt communication with Anesthesia staff regarding emergencies and requests.
•    Ability to move throughout hospital, move up to 25 pounds, and frequently transport heavy case carts.
•    Ability to move and position self to handle inventory, including high/low shelving.

Desired Qualifications:

•    Utilize PeopleSoft, SPM or Tableau.
•    A valid driver’s license and ability to meet UI Fleet Safety Standards.
•    Effectively multi-task, keeping multiple initiatives moving forward simultaneously.
•    Knowledge of University policies, procedures, and regulations.
•    Knowledge of supply chain management in a hospital setting.
