Position Qualifications:

 

Education Required

 

Bachelor’s in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and related application development/support experience. 

 

Experience Requirements

  • Experience in the development, configuration and/or support of applications used by non-technical customers to support and enhance business processes, typically 3-5 years including experience with programming tools and a comprehensive understanding of database technologies  

  • Experience working with application owners and/or vendors to define system requirements, integration requirements and understand business needs

  • Demonstrated ability with converting business requirements into functional/technical specifications for complex integrated systems build

  • Demonstrated ability using tools for customizing vendor application software

  • Demonstrated ability communicating technical information effectively to technical and non-technical staff at the verbal, written and presentation levels

  • Demonstrated job-related experience and/or commitment to diversity in the work/academic environment

Desired Qualifications

 

  • Familiarity with healthcare revenue cycle practices

  • Epic certification related but not limited to the following: Resolute PB, Resolute HB, Resolute HB Claims/Remittance, Resolute PB Claims/Remittance, Charge Router

  • Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical staff on system implementation projects

  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with basic project management

  • Proven ability to write application test scripts

  • Experience with PERL or similar scripting languages
