Education Required

Bachelor’s in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and related application development/support experience.  
Experience Requirements

Experience, typically 3-5 years, in the development and/or support of applications used by non-technical customers to support and enhance healthcare workflows processes

Experience contributing to the support, configuration and development of at least one Epic-specific healthcare enterprise application

Experience working with end-users to define system requirements and understand business needs; 

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with technical and non-technical staff; and 

Ability to wear a pager and provide some 24x7 on-call support

Demonstrated job-related experience and/or commitment to diversity in the work/academic environment  

Desirable Qualifications

Experience supporting an EHR in a rural ambulatory or hospital setting

Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with hospital and physician billing workflows.

Epic certification(s) related but not limited to the following:  Epic Resolute HB, Resolute PB, Claims or other Epic revenue cycle application modules strongly preferred.

Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical staff on system implementation projects

Proven ability to write application test scripts
