Required Qualifications
  • Must possess a basic knowledge of plumbing, electricity, maintenance of steam and mechanical equipment.
  • Must have four years of work experience in the listed crafts, including apprenticeship or technical training.
Special Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet and maintain University Driving Standard requirements.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Prefer knowledge of automated building systems (such as Johnson/Andover Controls).
  • Prefer knowledge of water chemistry for pools/spas.
  • Prefer knowledge of commercial steam systems.
  • Prefer ability to troubleshoot various plumbing and mechanical systems
  • Must be willing to train for athletic pool certifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Work constructively and collaboratively in a diverse environment, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trusting relationships.
