Area Mechanic
Qualifications:
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
· Must possess a basic knowledge of plumbing, electricity,
maintenance of steam and mechanical equipment.
· Must have four years of work experience in the listed crafts,
including apprenticeship or technical training.
Special
Qualifications:
· State of Iowa backflow prevention assembly certification or the
ability to obtain backflow prevention certification within 18 months from date
of hire.
· Valid driver’s license and ability to meet and maintain UI Fleet
Safety Standards.
