ARNP - Pediatric Psycho-Oncology
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree is required. A Master's degree in Nursing is preferred. If Master's degree is in a related field, a Baccalaureate degree in nursing is required.
- Current license to practice nursing in Iowa is required.
- Certification as Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
- Current or eligibility for ARNP license to practice nursing in the State of Iowa is required.
- Demonstrated experience in the clinical care of pediatrics.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with indirect supervision, critical thinking/problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated experience working effectively in a diverse environment or promoting a diverse environment is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Current or eligibility for Federal DEA license.
Desirable Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology
- Knowledge and experience in ambulatory care.
