ARNP - Pediatrics (Des Moines)
Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree is required. A Master's degree in Nursing is preferred. If Master's degree is in a related field, a Baccalaureate degree in nursing is required.
- Current license to practice nursing in Iowa is required.
- Current certification (or eligibility) as Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) and or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
- Current or eligibility for ARNP license to practice nursing in the State of Iowa is required.
- Demonstrated experience in area of pediatrics.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team and independently with indirect supervision.
- Demonstrated organizational skills including flexibility, effective prioritization, and task completion.
- Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Federal DEA license (or eligibility)
Desirable Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in pediatric nephrology.
- Knowledge and experience in ambulatory care.
- PALS/ACLS
