Assistant Athletic Trainer- Football, Rowing, Track
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in athletic training is required.
- One to three years of experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) providing sports medicine coverage for an NCAA athletic team in a comprehensive sports medicine environment.
- Board of Certification (B.O.C.) in athletic training is necessary along with eligibility for licensure in the state of Iowa.
- Ability to work constructively and collaboratively in a diverse environment, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trusting relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a highly regulated team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in athletic training or related field.
- One to three years of NCAA Track, FB or Rowing athletic training experience is highly preferred.
- Experience working with a large roster of student-athletes
- Background as a Preceptor within the past 5 years
- Experience working with electronic injury surveillance and medical records programs.
- Certification specialties in treatment of soft tissue injuries with manual therapy is highly preferred
