REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Considerable (1-3 years) demonstrated experience in:
    • Higher education, career services, career advising, training/teaching, or professional development
    • Program and event management/planning
    • Administrative coordination, reporting, and database management
  • Experience in creating and implementing tactical plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, specifically regarding attention to detail and proven sense of urgency when responding to employer, alumni or students interaction.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact positively with a diverse population.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet and maintain UI Fleet Safety driving requirements.
 DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Master’s degree in related field.
  • Experience career coaching in a highly competitive, placement-focused environment.
  • Working understanding of CRM and/or database systems (such as Handshake, Salesforce, BGI).
  • Technology experience using: Adobe Suite, Video Conferencing systems (such as Zoom, GoTo Meeting and/or Skype for Business).
  • Administrative experience in budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Working knowledge of University policies, procedures, and systems.
