POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education Requirement

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience (1-3 years) in:
    • Higher education, career services, career advising, training/teaching, or professional development
    • Program and event management/planning
  • Experience in creating and implementing tactical plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, specifically regarding attention to detail and proven sense of urgency when responding to employer, alumni, or students’ interaction.
  • Demonstrated constructive and collaborative relationship building skills with a variety of individuals and groups including peers, leadership, and internal/external constituents.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Current valid driver’s license and ability to meet Fleet Safety Driving Standards.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.

 

Desired Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience career coaching in a highly competitive, placement-focused environment.
  • A working understanding of CRM and/or database systems (such as Handshake, Salesforce, BGI).
  • Technology experience using: Excel, Qualtrics, Microsoft Suite, Video Conferencing systems (such as Zoom, Go-To-Meeting and/or Skype for Business) and/or Salesforce.
  • Administrative experience in budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Knowledge of University policies, procedures, and systems.
