Assistant Director, Larned A. Waterman Iowa Nonprofit Resource Center
- JD degree with a license to practice law in Iowa (if no license to practice, candidate must commit to becoming licensed in Iowa within 1 year).
- 3-5 years' experience working with the nonprofit sector in Iowa, or the functional equivalent of such experience.
- 2-3 years' experience developing and delivering formal/informal presentations to a variety of audiences, with and without multi-media tools.
- 1 or more years' experience in a position of program management, decision-making, and developing processes to meet strategic goals.
- 1 or more years' experience successfully developing collaborative relationships with diverse groups of people within or external to an organization.
- A working knowledge and proficiency with 1 or more of the following: Microsoft Office Suite (or Word and Excel), web management software; and/or demonstrated ability to learn emerging technology.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to meet fleet safety standards is required.
- Creating online content, including tutorials.
- 1 or more years' experience working with promotional campaigns to attain program objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute fundraising strategies.
- A record of demonstrating a strong client service orientation.
- Knowledge of University of Iowa policies and procedures.
