Assistant Director, Student Experience (75%-85% remote)
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Education Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience (typically one to three years) in admissions/recruiting, student services, academic program support or related business.
- Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills (with high attention to detail).
- Experience with planning, organizing, executing, and evaluating events.
- Demonstrated constructive and collaborative relationship building skills with a variety of individuals and groups, including peers, leadership, and external constituents.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability and willingness to work 1-2 evenings per week.

- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet and maintain UI Fleet Safety Standards.
Desired Qualifications
- A Master’s degree.
- Familiarity with the business community in the Eastern Iowa (Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, Quad Cities, etc.) region.
- Experience working with a graduate program for working professionals.
- Experience with LMS systems (e.g. ICON, Blackboard, etc).
- Working knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Salesforce in particular.
- Knowledge of University policies and procedures.
