Assistant Director, Volunteer Services
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- A master’s degree in an appropriate discipline with 1-3 years’ related experience, or a bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline with 3-5 years’ related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Demonstrated supervisory responsibility in previous position of either paid or unpaid staff who were providing excellent customer service in a professional environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with diplomacy with all levels of staff and volunteers.
- Proficiency creating reports and pulling information from various database platforms to improve and evaluate programs efficiency and effectiveness.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be detail oriented, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
- Proven ability to work with diverse populations.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience working in a healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of UI and UIHC policies and procedures.
- Previous experience in Volunteer Management.
- Prior experience in teaching, coaching, or training.
- Ability to create and present material for orientation and training purposes.
- Experience in marketing and creating promotional materials.
