Assistant Laboratory Manager – Downtown Campus
BASIC/REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory sciences from an accredited college or university or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
2. 3-5 years experience in laboratory or health care supervision is required.
3. 3-5 years experience working directly in laboratory or health care operations is required.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are required
5. Demonstrated experience working effectively in a welcoming and respectful workplace environment.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience directly supervising staff in a clinical laboratory setting or in a direct patient care or patient care support services setting is highly desired.
2. Prior experience working in a clinical laboratory setting is highly desired.
3. Prior experience working in an academic health center is desired.
4. Demonstrated success in leading interdisciplinary teams is desired.
5. Certification (or eligibility for certification) by the American Society of Clinical Pathology and/or National Certification Agency is highly desired.
