Qualifications:

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel & Restaurant Administration, Institutional Management, Foods & Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and supervisory experience.
  • Experience (typically 6 months – 1 year) in preparation and distribution of foods.
  • Experience (typically 6 months – 1 year) in food service management, including staff supervision, training, and inventory control.
  • Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) software applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through appropriate communication methods and behaviors at a working level.
  • Demonstrated ability to adjust and develop self to prepare for new or changing assignments, processes, people, or priorities as organizational needs dictate at a working proficiency level.
  • Demonstrated extensive proficiency in the ability to work and collaborate with a variety of individuals and groups while appreciating the unique contributions of individuals.
  • Demonstrated experience working effectively in a diverse environment and a demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion.
  • Demonstrated working proficiency in the ability to provide excellent customer service and to meet or exceed customer service needs.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain ServSafe certification.

 

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Working experience in a large-scale food service operation.
  • Working experience with electronic timekeeping systems, inventory systems, and POS systems.
