Assistant Nurse Manager- Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU)
Education Requirements:

Baccalaureate in Nursing is required.
- 1+ years of nursing experience with demonstrated skills in leadership.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with computer software applications (such as Microsoft programs).
- Demonstrates time management, organization of workload, delegation, attention to detail, and thoroughness.
- Collaborates and develops effective interpersonal relationships with nursing staff, medical staff, interdisciplinary teams, and other hospital departments and staff.
- Demonstrates effective teaching skills for staff and patient education.
- Demonstrated skill in leadership/management and experience in clinical practice required.
- Strong clinical assessment/skills.
- Demonstrated job related experience with and/or commitment to diversity in the work/academic environment.
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills. Demonstrates excellent problem-solving skills.
- Certification in a role or specialty through a nationally recognized professional nursing certification body. If not currently certified, must seek certification in a role or specialty as soon as eligible to sit for the exam with in two years of start date.

Current license to practice nursing in Iowa.

Master’s Degree (MSN, MBA or MHA) preferred.

3+ years of nursing experience in behavioral health.
- Experience with a large academic medical center.
- Experience in a union environment.

Member/ involvement with professional organizations.
