Assistant Nurse Manager-IRL
Education and Certification Requirements
·
Bachelor’s
Degree in Nursing or related field is required
·
Current
license to practice Nursing in Iowa is required by date of hire
Experience Requirements
·
1-3
years of recent (within the last 4 years) experience in a leadership and/or
management role
·
Excellent
written and verbal communication skills to serve as a liaison and to
collaborate with physicians, staff, patients, and other customers
·
Excellent
problem solving, decision making, and critical thinking skills
·
Proficiency
with computer software applications (such as Microsoft programs)
Desirable Qualifications
·
Experience
working in an ambulatory clinic setting
·
Experience
working in a collective bargaining unit environment
·
Experience
managing in an outpatient setting or in a procedural unit
·
Experience
working with EPIC
·
Ability
to develop and foster a cohesive team, instilling a collaborative and positive
culture and working environment
·
Knowledge
of UI and UIHC policies, procedures, and regulations
·
Demonstrated
time management, organization of workload, delegation, attention to detail, and
thoroughness
