POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience Required

  • A Master’s degree in Library and Information Science or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Some experience (typically two years) in collections management role or field.

Competencies Required

Demonstrates an EXTENSIVE proficiency level in:

  • collections content and inventory management includes familiarity with collections management systems.
  • organization and planning.
  • Ability to move up to 50lbs, such as full crates from a truck to museum storage.
  • Active driver’s license

Desirable Qualifications

*This is a specified term P&S position with full benefits. The successful incumbent will be appointed in no longer than one-year increments not to exceed 08/31/2022, unless additional funding is secured.
