Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach-Wrestling
- Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent).
- CSCCa Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) or NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)
- Working experience as a strength and conditioning coach of collegiate student-athletes in the following areas:
- designing speed, strength, and conditioning programs in a progressive manner
- executing the rehabilitative phase of injury recovery
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience in:
- performance management, including effectively teaching and supervising small and large groups of student-athletes
- utilizing basic office support software (word processing, email, spreadsheets)
- Ability to work constructively and collaboratively with individuals of diverse backgrounds in a highly-regulated team environment
- Higher education coursework in a related field is preferred.
- Coaching experience with and working knowledge of
- NCAA Division I strength and conditioning processes, issues, considerations and solutions for a high profile wrestling program;
- functional movement screening tools and implementing appropriate corrective exercise.
