Assistant Women's Soccer Coach
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent);
- Three or more years of demonstrated successful coaching and player development experience in the sport of soccer at the collegiate/national/professional level (Volunteer coaching experience will be counted as 50% time);
- Demonstrated experience working constructively and collaboratively in a diverse environment, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusting relationships;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a highly regulated team environment;
- A valid U.S. driving license and the ability to meet and maintain University of Iowa Driving Policy standards.
Desirable Qualifications:
- At least three years of successful coaching experience at the NCAA level;
- Demonstrated specific experience in goalkeeper and field player development;
- Demonstrated experience in international and domestic talent assessment and proven ability to effectively communicate with and successfully recruit elite-level student-athletes;
- Demonstrated experience in designing opponent scouting reports and a player development plan;
- Working knowledge and the ability to:
- utilize a video analysis system such as sports code, spiideo, and hudl
- plan and administer a recruiting calendar
- develop and manage camp curriculum and administration; assist with coaching and instruction at camps and clinics.
