Biomedical Engineering Coordinator – Medical Center North Liberty
Education Required
Bachelor’s degree within biomedical engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Qualifications:
- Typically, 1-3 years of experience troubleshooting, repairing, and testing electro-mechanical equipment.
- Experience communicating technical information effectively to technical and non-technical staff verbally and in writing.
- Must meet the University of Iowa Fleet Services program rules and regulations, due to the ability to drive University vehicles.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience working as Biomedical Equipment Technician or medical equipment field service technician.
- Experience maintaining medical devices.
- Experience maintaining Philips PIICiX central monitoring systems and MX series patient monitors.
- Experience collaborating with technical and non-technical staff on system and equipment implementation projects.
