Qualifications:

Required Qualifications
  • A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience (typically 6 months - 1 year) working in a post-secondary academic setting.
  • Demonstrates a working proficiency or higher in managing multiple tasks, resource and project management, including a high level of autonomy, decision-making, and time organization.
  • Demonstrates a working proficiency in operation and application of computer-based academic support systems or computer software applications related to a student information system (i.e. MAUI, PeopleSoft, Banner, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrates a working proficiency and knowledge of data gathering and analysis tools, techniques and processes; ability to use these to gather and analyze data for a specific or variety of needs and/or projects.
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge and application of diverse communication techniques and relationship building skills, including listening skills and the ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
Desired Qualifications
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of University of Iowa policies and procedures.
  • Experience (typically 2 years) working directly with MAUI.
  • Working knowledge of regulations as familiarity with the operations of a registrar’s office.
