Business Analyst
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Technology, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Typically 1 to 3 years experience with process/system design, testing, support and implementation of financial/accounting systems or related modules.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communications skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
- Ability to successfully plan, coordinate and balance multiple projects/tasks at one time and meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
- Demonstrated strong critical thinking, problem and analytical skills.
- Ability to establish productive working relationships in a collaborative team environment while also possessing the ability to be a self-starter with a focus on continuous process improvement.
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer software applications including Excel, Access or a comparable relational database and Word.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience gathering and manipulating information from a variety of sources to perform a task based on established processes and procedures.
- Experience with PeopleSoft Financials, the General Ledger module or an automated accounting system.
- Experience with the University’s financial systems, knowledge of related policies and procedures or experience with business analysis in a higher educational setting.
