CAMBUS Operations Supervisor
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience (typically 1 year) within public transit.
• Valid Class B CDL, or ability to obtain and maintain Class B CDL with passenger endorsement and airbrakes restriction lifted within 1 year of hire
• Ability to meet/maintain UI Driving policy standards.
• Ability to obtain state DOT certification to conduct 3rd party CDL knowledge and skills tests within 1 year of employment including passing DOT background check.
• Ability to meet DOT safety-sensitive position requirements, including complying with required drug and alcohol testing in accordance with DOT/FTA regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated experience in customer service.
Desired Qualifications:
• Experience beyond 1 year within public transit.
• Experience with transit CAD/AVL systems.
• Demonstrated supervisory experience.
• Experience planning and implementing service changes for a public transit agency
• Knowledge of university policy and procedures.
