Cataloging-Metadata Library Assistant
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
- Three years of library work experience, or
- A combination of related work experience, undergraduate education, and/or post-high school library training totaling four years.
Desired/Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity in an academic environment, in a workplace setting, and/or in the community.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and match title, author, publisher, publication date, edition statement, etc. in MARC21 records for bibliographic verification.
- Cataloging experience with an online library system, such as Ex Libris’ Alma.
- Experience using OCLC Connexion.
- Ability to respond to a variety of queries requiring judgment and interpretation of policies and practice.
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively w/others, groups, and/or team settings.
