Chief Operations Officer
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in areas such as pharmaceutics, chemistry, engineering, or professional degree in similar fields of study, including pharmacy OR
- Similar bachelor’s degrees with equivalent combination of education and technical experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired
- Minimum of 7 years project management, managerial and/or business development experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, such as but not limited to pharmaceutical, chemical processing or personal care products.
- Experience with managing cross-functional projects, working with internal and external stakeholders/clients and analyzing data
- Demonstrated ability to build effective teams; proactively handle conflict including difficult people and situations
- Strong organizational skills and action-orientated problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of Pharmaceutical Research and Development regulations, including FDA, EMA. DEA, ICH
- Demonstrated experience working effectively in a diverse environment
- Experience in biotech or contract development and manufacturing organizations (CDMO)
- In addition to required qualification, Master of Business degree
- Direct or hands-on manufacturing operations experience
- Pharmaceutics or Pharm.D. degree
