Education Required
 
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible experience, such that one can perform beginning level research in a health science field or discipline.
 

Experience Requirements

  • One to three years of laboratory experience.
  • Relevant experience in the conduct of clinical research studies and /or patient care.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of computer based programs and databases.
  • Experience managing complex information requiring attention to detail
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
 

Highly Desirable Qualifications

  • Ability to work within a team environment consolidating multiple tasks while focusing on global core objectives.
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and procedures.
  • Histotechnologist or certified Medical Laboratory Technician.
 

Desirable Qualifications

  • Knowledge of University of Iowa policies, procedures and regulations
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
