Clinic Chief Tech - HC Svcs Mgr/Asst Dept Dir PET Imaging Center
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) in nuclear medicine.
Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) in PET.
Certification as a Nuclear Medical Technologist by the Iowa Public Health Department as documented by an Iowa Permit to Practice (IPP).
Experience Requirements:
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills to facilitate liaison with colleagues and trial collaborators.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong background in Nuclear Medicine and PET
At least five years of experience in dedicated positron emission tomography (PET) with progressively independent responsibilities.
Demonstrated ability to perform complex PET examinations.
Demonstrated ability to initiate, develop and implement new projects in PET that advance new clinical applications or research endeavors.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to maintain adherence to written procedures and clinical and regulatory standards applicable to clinical trials and clinical imaging.

Desired Qualifications:
Administrative or managerial experience associated with nuclear medicine or PET (i.e. reimbursement/pre-approval, patient/employee scheduling, ordering of radiopharmaceuticals).
