Clinic Services Coordinator - Cancer Center, Quad Cities
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- One year of administrative experience
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer spreadsheets and database applications.
- Ability to demonstrate exemplary customer service and/or patient interaction.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience with hospital operations and/or ambulatory clinic operations.
- 1 or more years of administrative experience in healthcare environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited direction and taking initiative.
- Previous (6 months – 1 year) with process improvement, especially as it relates to operational workflow.
- Proven strong organizational skills and a detail-orientated focus.
- Experience scheduling in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Experience providing supervision of staff.
- Experience working with Epic.
- Ability to be self-directed and demonstrate excellent judgement in prioritizing multiple projects and assignments.
- Knowledge of University of Iowa policies, procedures, and regulations.
