Clinic Services Specialist - Dermatology
Required Qualification:
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Minimum 1 year experience scheduling in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of clinical scheduling and coordination of patient activities
- Experience with Epic
- Experience working in Customer Service
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism while handling difficult situations with callers and customers
- Demonstrated ability to work as a cooperative team member
Desirable Qualifications:
- 6 months- 1 year healthcare revenue cycle experience
- 6 months- 1 year experience working with third party payers.
- Previous experience working with insurance authorization.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology is highly desirable.
