Clinical Case Manager
- Master’s in Social Work with clinical focus from a CSWE-Accredited program.
- Licensed as a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) or Licensed Masters of Social Work (LMSW) in the State of Iowa by the date of hire.
- Relevant post-degree experience (typically 1-3 years).
- Extensive knowledge of evidence and theory-based mental health case management and counseling in assessment, crisis, individual and group.
- Extensive proficiency in planning and delivering outreach programs and consultation services on a university campus or similar environment.
- Working knowledge of providing supervision to trainees.
- Extensive proficiency in collaborating and interacting with individuals and groups while valuing the unique contribution of individuals from varied cultures, races, creeds, colors, national origins, ages, sexes, disabilities, sexual orientations, and gender identities.
- Working proficiency with office support tools and electronic medical records software (e.g. word processing, email, presentation software and spreadsheets, and electronic health records); preferably Microsoft Office and Titanium HER.
- Willingness and ability to work in multiple office locations on the University of Iowa campus.
- Working proficiency in empirically validated treatment modalities.
- Working proficiency with serious and complex mental health concerns and with mental health crises.
- Knowledge of and experience with infusing technology into the delivery of mental health services.
- Interest and/or experience in counseling center research.
- Knowledge of mental health providers and systems local to the Iowa City area.
- Experience with campus mental health and challenges associated with transition and persistence within higher education.
- Working proficiency managing multiple complex concerns while meeting varied constituency expectations and deadlines.
