Minimum Eligibility Requirements
- Clinical Dietitian I and Clinical Dietitian II: A Master's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Clinical Dietitian I and Clinical Dietitian II: Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Clinical Dietitian I and Clinical Dietitian II: Strong understanding of nutrition principles, macronutrients, and their impact on weight management and health
- Clinical Dietitian I and Clinical Dietitian II: Familiarity with behavior modification techniques and counseling skills to address emotional eating, binge eating and other related issues
- Clinical Dietitian II: 5 years of clinical nutrition experience
- Clinical Dietitian II: Must demonstrate experience working effectively in a diverse environment
Certifications (Clinical Dietitian I and Clinical Dietitian II)
- Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration is required
- Licensure by the State of Iowa is required
