Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of clinical research experience is required.
  • A current valid Iowa Registered Nurse license or comparable license in a related allied health field is required.
  • Working knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) in research is required. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Ability to work nights and weekends is required.
  • Demonstrated experience working effectively in a diverse environment.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Previous experience working on clinical trials is desirable.
  • Experience in processing research regulatory documents and budget preparation is desirable.
  • Current or past supervisory experience is desirable.
  • Current or past experience working in an emergency or critical care setting is desirable.
  • Experience in processing research regulatory documents and budget preparation is desirable.
  • The ability to work independently is desired.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work is desired.
