EDUCATION REQUIRED
• Successful completion of two-year or other approved program by Joint Review Committee in Radiologic Technology education and completion of a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in diagnostic Radiology.
• Permit to practice in the State of Iowa for all radiographers operating ionizing radiation emitting equipment.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
• The ability to work independently with self motivation to complete the tasks at hand.
• Must be proficient in computer software applications (Microsoft Office Suite).
• The ability to learn to efficiently use existing proprietary software.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
• Clinical and/or Basic Research Experience.
• Experience with advanced imaging.
• Experience in one or more of the following imaging modalities such as Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Computed Tomography (CT).
• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).
