Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communication, marketing, or a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in public relations, communications, or marketing.
  • Minimum 1 year project management experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Clear and succinct writing for the web using best practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms.
  • High degree of creatively, initiative, self-motivation, and self-direction.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and technological skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive and professional work environment while handling difficult and complex situations and conversations.
  • Accuracy with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in marketing, public relations, or a related field.
  • Medical terminology knowledge.
  • Experience working in an academic medical center.
  • Knowledge, understanding, and adherence to HIPAA.
  • Knowledge of UIHC policies, procedures, and regulations.
