Education Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communication, marketing, or a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience Required:
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in public relations, communications, or marketing.
- Minimum 1 year project management experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Clear and succinct writing for the web using best practices.
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms.
- High degree of creatively, initiative, self-motivation, and self-direction.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and technological skills.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive and professional work environment while handling difficult and complex situations and conversations.
- Accuracy with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in marketing, public relations, or a related field.
- Medical terminology knowledge.
- Experience working in an academic medical center.
- Knowledge, understanding, and adherence to HIPAA.
- Knowledge of UIHC policies, procedures, and regulations.
