Community and Student Life Archivist - Residency Librarian
Required Education
- Graduate degree from an ALA-accredited program in Library and Information Science on or by May 31, 2020.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity in an academic environment, in a workplace setting, and/or in the community.
- Ability to articulate awareness of inequities and challenges faced by historically underrepresented or economically disadvantaged groups, and/or the negative consequences of underutilization.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team-based setting where consultation, flexibility, reliability, initiative, creativity, collaboration and cooperation are essential.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated interest in professional development.
- Classwork, certifications (such as Academy of Certified Archivists (ACA) certification), concentration(s), or additional degree(s) in special collections, archives, or records management (such as the Records and Information Management (RIM) certificate).
- Advanced knowledge of Special Collections and archives as demonstrated through advanced classwork, certification, or prior work experience.
